Summer 2018 - Timetable Changes

Over the last 4 years, CrossFit Northumbria has continued to evolve in an effort to accommodate increased demand for membership places.

In late 2017 we were close to our operational capacity and at the start of the year, we enforced a waiting list system to prevent oversubscription to maintain the level of service we provide to our current members.

Timetable Changes

With our waiting list now totalling over 150 people, we are changing our class schedule to add more sessions, decrease class waiting lists and give even more training options. Please see the new timetable below effective from the week commencing Monday 9th July 2018

Thursdays AM
Thursday morning will now have two instructor-led classes. The new CrossFit Barbell class will focus on weightlifting, powerlifting and strongman movements. Classes will run,

6:30am (Bay 2, 12 people)

9:30am (Bay 2, 12 people)

If the demand is there, classes will move to Bay 1 and Open gym will move into Bay 2.

Fridays AM
The addition of 2 more early morning classes on a Friday. Classes will run,

5:30am (Bay 2, 10 people)

6:00am (Bay 1, 18 people)

6:30am (Bay 2, 10 people)

7:00am (Bay 1, 18 people)

If this is successful and continues with good occupancy levels then we will gradually change all morning classes over to this schedule.

Fridays PM
Friday evening will have a class added at 4:30pm to accommodate those getting an early finish,

4:30pm (Bay 1, 18 people)

Saturday AM
Saturday morning will now have three Team WOD classes. They will run,

9:00am (Bay 1, 27 people)

10:00am (Bay 1, 27 people)

11:00am (Bay 1, 27 people)

Open gym will remain available from 8:00am.

Sunday AM
Sunday will now have two interval style CrossFit classes due to popular demand. They will run,

10:00am (Bay 1, 18 people)

11:00am (Bay 1, 18 people)

*Note: All changes are subject to a probation period to evaluate their efficacy.

We hope everyone is looking forward to more training options, more classes and the next stage of a gym that you helped to create.
